Empowering the Northwest with Essential Resource Connection

We are dedicated to connecting our community with the essential resources and services they need. Our Comprehensive Resource Guide is your one-stop destination for finding a wide range of services, from healthcare and housing to employment support and beyond. We believe in providing access to vital information through a simple, efficient, and user-friendly manner.

The guide allows families and professionals alike to input critical information and criteria for determining a good fit with a program, such as primary diagnosis/concern, insurance coverage, and level of care. From there our guide will trim down the list of hundreds of programs to the select few that meet the criteria, and will provide direct contact information for the S.O.N.G. member who has partnered with us to provide concierge service. The best part is: it’s absolutely free to use.

About S.O.N.G

Our mission is to elevate interagency collaboration through advocacy in the behavioral health field in Spokane County and beyond, making programs and treatment services more accessible. The idea for S.O.N.G. was born out of necessity. Our community needed a quick and efficient way to help families navigate crisis. Additionally, our community needed a non-biased resource guide that would help determine the fit and quality of care for the patient.

In response to this need, a small group of behavioral health professionals got together in November of 2022 and began to hatch a plan. Over the next couple of years, it went from a plan among a few colleagues to a behavioral health initiative shared by over 250 organizations. The group meets regularly to offer its members an opportunity to learn about local behavioral health programs and to get to know programs outside of Spokane, which organizations could potentially partner with on a referral basis. It gives members a tangible experience by stepping foot inside the building where services are being offered, interfacing with the clinical staff, and getting the opportunity to ask specific questions. The information and experience they acquire can then be shared with the families they work with who are in need of services, as well as direct contact information for the person who handles intake coordination.
