About S.O.N.G.

S.O.N.G. was created by a small group of business development professionals in the Inland Northwest. With many years of experience working for various behavioral health organizations, they decided to build a community of support to increase visibility and provide more expedient access to care for families navigating crisis.

Since the first meeting in December 2022, the group has grown to include over 250 organizations, and gained the support of city, county, and state agencies. S.O.N.G. was officially recognized as a 501(c)3 in April 2024, and earned tax-exemption status in June 2024.

Through collaborative meetings, the Spokane IMPACT annual behavioral health resource fair, and online tools such as the comprehensive resource guide and social media groups, S.O.N.G. is changing the way that both businesses and the community access care.
